Protect yourself from human trafficking and exploitation
Have you fled your home country and are you now in Germany? If you are looking for a job or accommodation, there are always dangerous situations. Even here in Germany, there are people who want to exploit refugees and migrants.
We have a Video so that you know how you can protect yourself from exploitation and human trafficking. You will learn how to recognize such risky situations and what help is available if you are in danger.
You can use this information to get support when you need it:
- You can find information on employment law in Germany here.
- On the website of the Coordination Group against Human Trafficking you will find Specialist advice centers in your area.
- You can reach the violence hotline for women around the clock on 08000 116016.
- The violence hotline for men is available Monday to Thursday from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. and Friday from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. on 0800 123 9900.
These centers offer multilingual support, are free of charge and anonymous.
